Moissanite does not dull on its own — films of soap, skin oil and lotion are what dim the sparkle. Care is about removing those films.
Monthly wash
Warm water, a drop of mild dish soap, a soft toothbrush behind the stone and around the setting, then rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Five minutes, once or twice a month.
What to avoid
Chlorine bleach and harsh chemicals can attack metal settings; remove rings before swimming or cleaning with strong agents. Avoid hard knocks — 9.25 hardness is hard, not unbreakable.
Storage
Store pieces separately — a diamond or another moissanite can scratch anything softer. The pouch each order ships in is designed for this.
When it still looks dim
If a wash does not restore the sparkle, the setting may have residue under the stone. Contact us with your order ID — we will confirm whether professional cleaning is needed.
